ESPN+ analyst Carla Swensen-Haslem is back with KSL.com's Sean Walker to take a victory lap after BYU's 2-1 comeback win over No. 14 Texas Tech led by goals from MacKenzee Vance and Avery Frischknecht to end the regular season.
Did the win cement the Cougars as an NCAA Tournament at-large team? What does it mean for the Big 12 women's soccer tournament in Kansas City? And could BYU face a familiar foe in the first round of the NCAA Tournament after surging into the final month of the season?

Former BYU women's soccer player and ESPN+ analyst Carla Swensen-Haslam and Sean Walker from KSL.com hit the record button live moments after BYU's 3-3 draw with Baylor, Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at South Field.
Is this a disappointing two-points lost? Or a point gained from dire circumstances in the final minutes? It might be a little bit of both. Let's explain

Founded in 2019, Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast from the state of Utah for the first time in the Saturday morning program's history when No. 14 BYU hosts Arizona in a key Big 12 matchup for both programs (2 p.m. MDT, FOX).

The show often features news, highlights and analysis from host Stone and a panel of college football experts including former USC quarterback Matt Leinart, Alabama running back Mark Ingram II, Notre Dame alum Brady Quinn, and Urban Meyer, the former Florida and Ohio State coach who will be back in Utah after turning the Utes into contenders on the biggest stage.

But "Big Noon," as many call it, is more than a pregame show. It bills itself as "the best pregame party in all of college football," and is coming off a record-setting attendance at UCF — a record several BYU fans and students have already told KSL.com they plan to break as early as 6:30 a.m. MDT when fans will begun being let into the pit area.

Ingram says, bring it on.

"I hope it's a bigger party (than UCF). UCF came out a few weeks ago and showed out, Colorado came out last year and showed out," Ingram said. "Now we need BYU and Provo to pull up and show out for us. Big Noon is the best college football party in the nation, in the world. We have fun, we celebrate the game of football — and we've got Cosmo doing some acrobatic tricks tomorrow.

"We're going to be celebrating the game and the players that play it," he added. "We're just going to have a lot of fun. We hope that all of Provo and all of BYU nation comes out and has a great time with us tomorrow."

Former BYU women's soccer star and ESPN+ analyst Carla Swensen-Haslam and KSL.com's Sean Walker are back to break down the BYU women's soccer team in their first to Tucson, a 2-1 loss to Arizona in the first of three consecutive road tilts.
What is the value of a three-game road trip so late into the season, and what is left on the Cougars' agenda as they get ready for the Big 12 women's soccer tournament championship at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.?

FOX's popular pregame college football show and tailgate "Big Noon Kickoff" will come to Provo for the first time-ever when No. 14 BYU football hosts Arizona in a Big 12 conference game Saturday at 2 p.m. MDT (FOX).
Making its first-ever trip to the state of Utah, the two-hour Big Noon Kickoff pregame show and tailgate party will be held in the west parking lot of LaVell Edwards Stadium. Set at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, Edwards Stadium is one of the most picturesque settings in college football.
Big Noon Kickoff, hosted by Rob Stone along with analysts Mark Ingram II, Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer and Brady Quinn, provides a preview of the day’s top games live from college campuses across the nation. Saturday’s show will also include detailed analysis and coverage of the Big 12 matchup between BYU (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) and Arizona (3-2, 1-1 Big 12) before the game broadcast featuring Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft.

Zach Smith from the Waco Tribune-Herald joins the show to break down No. 22 BYU's trip to Baylor, including a resurgent Bears team that was left dumbstruck last week with an overtime loss to Colorado on a late-game Hail Mary — or two — by quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Should BYU be weary of a road loss? It is Big 12 play, after all. Is that why Vegas pins the Bears as 3.5-point favorites for the 11 a.m. CT kickoff on the banks of the Brazos River?
Most importantly, Zach shares some ideas for how BYU fans can spend their time on a trip to Waco, including pre-game (breakfast) dining options for the early kick, as well as places to see in Central Texas before heading out of town (and no, not all of them involving Magnolia, Chip or Jo).

It's 1996 throwback week as BYU hosts No. 13 Kansas State in a Big 12 opener for both teams (even though the Wildcats just played Arizona — yeah, we know).
Sean Walker from KSL.com is joined by KStateOnline.com publisher and lead football writer Derek Young, part of the On3 network as well as the 3MAW podcast who admits he was too young to recall much of the 1997 Cotton Bowl meeting between the two teams.
But Young sees a potentially tight game playing out for a game where the Wildcats are 6.5-point favorites.
